When I was young and obnoxious, I would snidely tell people that to avoid boredom, I needed to learn something new every day. I am older now (but still obnoxious) and still in the habit of seeking new information.

Take the Constitution for instance. Nowadays, I may not be able to remember where I left my keys but I clearly recall high school Civics class. I thought that I had a pretty good grasp of the US Constitution.

Turns out my Civics teacher only glossed over the document, hitting the highlights but leaving out important details.
