My 2020 Project

Starting with a look back.

This morning I was reminded of what I’d written a year ago, at the beginning of what was supposed to be a great new year.

Things changed after that, quickly. Permanently.

My business partner, friend, and soul sister died suddenly. It was gut punch on so many levels. Having to reel in the business we’d just launched together, undoing plans, letting go of dreams, it wasn’t easy and I had no choice but to do it. Just do it.

The empty space was filled with new things. New people came into my life because of what I was making myself do, step out of my comfort zone as my past and present connected to more of what was happening around me, things I didn’t know existed until, the way I see it, until I couldn’t ignore them anymore. If that’s confusing to you, imagine the tangle in my mind…

But, what I find most fascinating, are the last two items on the list of 2019 Resolutions: I will write my way to the life I desire and I will continue to dream big.

Writing Everyday has definitely been my mantra for 2019, it’s the daily habit now, something I have to do. It’s happening, this life I’m creating with my words is manifesting into reality. It looks different than it did last year, there is a lot more passion and fire in my “Why.”

Dreaming Big is part of my DNA, although 23andMe doesn’t have a segment for that yet, the BigDream Gene. They should really get on that. I think it would help a lot of people/us find our real tribe.
