Improving Color Accessibility in SeeClickFix

In an effort to improve color accessibility we are introducing a new color for requests that have been acknowledged. This new color will roll out to all public and organizational interfaces across the SeeClickFix platform this week.

The clear take away though is that for most varieties of color-blindness, you should avoid similar gradients of red/orange and green. For us, the best solution was to lighten our shade of green. And so, we’d like to introduce our new green that will be used for acknowledged requests throughout SeeClickFix. You can call it “mint” or “9DD99D” or just “green”, but wherever you see it, it means that a organization has received and acknowledged the request that you have summited for service through SeeClickFix.
