Why Oil Executives are Evil

If you continue to work in an industry when evidence shows it is destroying life on earth, then you are the equivalent of a Nazi working in the gas chambers…

People continue to support evil because they don’t want to acknowledge it. The price of acknowledging evil is not one they wish to pay. So an example might be those gas chamber attendants at Auschwitz* herding Jews into gas chambers and saying that they were ‘just doing their job.’ Oil executives and the millions of people around the world who are working in the oil industry are ‘just doing their job.’

*My cousin, aunt, uncle and other relatives died at Auschwitz.

Noam Chomsky was right when he said that climate made Trump more evil than Hitler. Hitler tried to kill off one nation of people (genocide). People who knowingly continue to engage in activities which are destroying our environment (air, water, soil, and the eco-system), and therefore destroying many forms of life that are dependent on that environment, are more evil based on the fact that they are responsible for the extinction of many species.

“But how will I get to work if I don’t have a car?”

“How will I feed my children if I don’t have a job?

“But if I pay a living wage, I won’t be able to keep my business open.”
