The classic and collector car market is a fantastically diverse tapestry of vehicles from every breed and era. Delving into the classifieds reveals some real gems waiting to find a new home with both enthusiasts and serious collectors alike. Thanks to GAA, enthusiasts have an incredible opportunity to bid on an example of the model that helped Petty get behind the wheel of the famous number 43 blue Superbird and the best part is that it is signed by the man himself. This Loud Mouth Lime 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird features a 440-cid V8 engine with a version of Chrysler’s 6-pack induction setup and an automatic transmission. The interior is equipped with a black vinyl upholstery, a radio, a heater, and a dashboard signed by Richard Petty.

Although this 1967 Fastback Mustang being offered at auction on Clasiq did not start life as a Wimbledon White example, it currently represents one of the most iconic body styles in one of the most iconic finishes. Under the hood the heavily modified 289-cid engine is accented with blue parts and the interior continues the all-American theme with red leather upholstery. On the drivers side fender red, white, and blue hash marks proudly complete this theme.

GM has been one of the biggest participants in the Indy pace car program. 2018 was a historical year for Dodge, the introduction of the Demon cemented the Mopar name into the minds of younger car enthusiasts. It is not really all that surprising that car restorers have turned to restomodding as somewhat of an industry standard. The very concept, though completely unnatural, seems somewhat natural in a very strange way. If you think about it, who would have ever thought that a large portion of the remaining cars from the 1970s would have fuel injection, independent suspension, and rack and pinion steering and yet at the same time it is very fitting that a restorer would want to add the best features of the modern world to their favorite classic body style.

Chevrolet changed the course of history in 1955 and revamped their brand with the introduction of the newly redesigned Bel Air. It featured an all new, almost futuristic look that had the ability to make the average American feel as though they were driving a much more expensive Cadillac. Available as a hardtop, convertible, or Nomad wagon the new Chevrolet was truly a car for everyone. So much so that Chevy ended up garnering a whopping 44-percent of the low-priced market segment.
