Ego

Perceptions and observations from “Beyond the Matrix,” which is a reality that exists outside of space and time. It is a reality that can be accessed through states of higher consciousness.

Many people think that “enlightenment” is a goal that can only be attained through certain practices, such as meditation. However, enlightenment is not a fixed destination or even a specific process. Rather, there is only the journey of becoming a more aware and enlightened person.

One can become more enlightened through a quest for more knowledge on these matters. With the language and resources available today, people can be taught how to experience higher consciousness. People can be taught to “wake up.”

The process of becoming a more enlightened individual begins by distancing yourself from Ego. Once you see that there is a “space” between you functioning as a person and your experiencing infinity, your goal is to make that “space” larger and more pronounced.

One way to create more “space” is to quiet your thoughts. Right now, you can’t hear the universe because your thoughts are limited to the level of Ego. You will not be able to discern what the universe is trying to tell you until you disconnect from identification with Ego. Your mind must be clear of Ego-based thoughts in order for communication from the universe to appear.

Disconnecting from Ego is a practice that can be learned. First, you need to understand when you are identifying as Ego. As soon as you recognize it, stop. Stop and shift your attention back to now. Your Ego is “in your head” as thoughts. So one way to see the difference between Ego and infinity is to notice if you feel like you are in your head or whether you are present now.

The universe exists only Now. Therefore, if you are in your head then you are Ego.

Disconnecting from Ego also requires removing people and situations from your life that overly rely on Ego. You will begin to see when you are acting as Ego vs. infinity because as Ego, you will begin to shift away from Now. Your thoughts will be based on the past or the future.
