To be completely honest, talking to him wasn’t a comfortable task for me because our races go way back a long way….I mean, in a bad way. We have had an excessive amount of ugly battles that I don’t even remember how many they were, and as a child I would listen to the stories about epic battles between orcs and elves told by my ancestors. Myself and him actually fought many times before.

Basically, orcs and elves can’t stand each other really. At all. But, I’m here on an important mission and had to put my feelings aside; I had to forget about this past a little.

As you may already know, there’s another battle between the Corps and the Degen coming up later this week called The Rise of the Elves. Fancy name huh? but thankfully, because of my assignment today, my race and his kind had one day of truce so I could sit with him for this interview. Or this could have turned out very differently. If you know what I mean.

On my way to the meeting, my instinct was to ask Vulug about his strategies for this next battle and that would be my last question to make him mad and ready to fight. I really wanted to test his nerves. But one thing I admire from the orcs is their willingness to not share anything they shouldn’t. It’s quite remarkable. He didn’t flinch neither comply with my requests and was very strict on time and keeping the conversation only about Arcadia. Well, good for him. I’d have done the same.

Q1- What can you reveal about the wLAND functionality and new packs to be launch in the Q3 2021?

The first wLAND utility is buying lands and new game items. The first new two game items categories will be tools to help workers clean the world and the other is foundations.

Q2: What’s the world explorer and how would we acquire a land to be cleaned and collect resources from? Do we need to buy it beforehand and how do we do it?

Good question. The world explorer is basically a map and in this world players will see lands available to build foundations. In the future, players will use the world explorer to attack other villages, join clans and so on.

If a land is free you will be able to buy it using wLAND. A village will require one land, a temple and 8 lands. Each foundation has different requirements of space in the map.

The first step is to buy wLAND, which is your ticket to buy a land and its foundations.

Q3: What do you mean by evolve foundations and second era of the economy?

The first stage of the economy will be based on resources collected in the world- basic resources like wood and others raw materials.

Those raw materials will be necessary to help you evolve buildings, like houses, walls and so on. You can start collecting these resources for free or wait to buy in the world black market which starts the second era of the economy.

Those buildings will help you to generate new resources in your own villages, protect your village, train soldiers and so on.

These raw materials collecting processes will be our free to play / play to earn module.

Q4: Are there any plans for these free to play / play to earn to happen soon?

Yes. Before the world explorer we will release a way for players collect workers to clean the first Arcadia world and collect resources.

Q5: Can I buy wLAND with wGOLD?

In the primary market no, in the secondary market yes.

Q6: I saw that Arcadia will have a new war machine. What can you tell us about that? And the existent wars we see today against the FED will continue after the expansion in the format that they’re today?

After the delivery of the world explorer and the foundation explorer, we’ll be ready to start the new wars’ format.

The war against FED will remain the same. It is the most important war in the game; however local conflicts between villages and clans will rise all the time. The war machine will control this part of the game.

Q7: When will the clan foundation be released?

The clan foundation will be released before the delivery of the new war machine.

Q8: When will the new worlds be released?

The new worlds will be released at the end of the expansion, after we tried the software and created a solid base code. We need all the components working fine to release a new world, however, we are working to speed up the development to release new ones as soon as possible.

Q9: Who can be part of the DAO? are there any requirements?

To manage the world and a clan, players will vote and set the course of the game.

The DAO will be composed by the Society ring owners and players — meaning that it must be formed by the world owner plus 3 of the Society ring owners and also some of the clan masters — with each group having 1/3 of the votes.

For the Clan DAO: it must have clan masters (players who bought the clan ticket) plus 3 of the Society ring owners and also some of the clan members. Each group having 1/3 of the votes.

And that’s it for today. I better rush back to my family to get everyone readyyy to the battle!

ehhh actually…. that wasn’t exactly how it finished. Our truce had just ended and to stir the pot I sneaked back in a few minutes later and shouted at him that his army was half-crippled, disgusting and well…corrupted!

He didn’t like it at all, was furious at me and shouted back ‘We’re going to destroy your egos! Death to the Elves!!!!’

Great!! my spicy words really had an effect! we’re both prepared now 😏
