Here’s who we are

Altuğ Ön

I was born and raised in Izmir. My high school years spent playing basketball so that I’m interested in sports. If I had to describe myself more I should say; I am always a guy that have sense of humor, I can make jokes even when I am uncomfortable. My friends would probably describe me as a trustable, loyal and cheerful friend. I like to watch and observe. I also like watching movies, sports, spend time with the one’s I love and mostly like to dream together.

My first encounter with the media is through my love for sports. In my Middle and High School years I want to become sports anchor. So that dream resulted and followed in me studying Media and Communication at the University of Economics.

During my education I experienced and learn a lot about what is like to be a media person and this includes a good teammates equals good work. In this project I really trust my fellows. Our project went better than we expected so we gained experience together and improved ourselves in multiple ways.

I was born in Trabzon, I grew up in İstanbul. I study media and communication in Izmir University of Economics. I really believe that this is the right major for me because of my personality, since I love being around with people and interact with them. also I’m a really curious person and I really love investing information.

At first, I studied Genetics in Istanbul and I realized that it wasn’t the right major despite how much I like biology and chemistry. It didn’t fit my future goals.

While I was studying media, I realized that how much I like being in the workload. The major fed my expectations and wanted to me to ask for more. With my group mates, our project was our dream and also our future dream job and we made it come true in some way. We pulled into our dreams. I personally really enjoyed while doing our project and I realized that working on-camera was something that I can do, since I thought that it wasn’t a job for me and I thought I couldn’t do it how I imagined in my mind.

So this project changed and gave me a perspective in a way I never thoguht of. It helped me for put in a shape of my future goals.

I was born in Izmir in 2001. People around me generally describe me as a calm person, but I have a lively spirit within. I love exploring new places, having coffee with friends, and especially adore dogs.

In my first year of education at Izmir University of Economics, I was a student in the Business Administration department. After realizing that it was not aligned with my interests, I made the decision to change my major and transferred into the Media and Communication department, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the university. I can say that it was truly a turning point in my life.

During my three years of education in the Media and Communication department, I discovered my own areas of interest. I enjoyed being in front of the camera, particularly being involved in post-production of videos that I was a part of, and I developed a love for content creation. Upon graduation, I plan to focus on these aspects of my profession.

When choosing our project, one of the things we paid close attention to was selecting something we would genuinely enjoy doing. That could only be achieved through a job where we are in front of the camera. We also have a strong interest in lives of celebrities with Simden, so we thought it would be the best fit for us. I am very happy with the work we have produced.
