You Must Really Dig Us!

Now it’s up to us to keep making Etch even better. Challenge accepted!

We don’t really do “bug fixes and performance improvements” releases here at Etch. Obviously we want to make the user experience as great as possible, which always involves squashing a few bugs here and there, but whenever we update the app we like for it to include something great that you can actually see and use.

So, along with a bunch of behind the scenes work to keep Etch running in tip-top shape, our next release (which is awaiting approval by Apple as we speak) has some slick updates to the place details pages. Since this is arguably where the most important content in Etch lives — all the info about your and your friends’ favorite places, including ratings and what you loved about them — we thought it could use a bit of a refresh to make it even better. The new design will add:
