My Summer Essentials!

We all have a bunch of stuff we call our “Summer Essentials”. Some have a pack of makeup, some have fake tan, some have bronzers whilst some have hydration based products to give back what the sun naturally takes out. Here’s what I call my “Summer Essentials”.

Ive been given a pack of goodies from The Raw Pharmacist from MandRessentials and here’s why I believe they are of high importance. So we are in the middle of summer and this year we have actually been graced by the sun in New Zealand! Not just any Sun but one thats incredibly hot, full of Vitamin D and strong rays! Now if we don’t have the best protective measures in place then it can end up having a negative effect on our skin and our health in general.

So in my pack of goodies were things that have helped me and might be of help to you too! A sunscreen that I proudly and specifically requested The Raw Pharmacist to make for me, an Energising facial cleanser, a Youthful Moisturiser, a Pure Vitamin C and a Sensitive Skin Balm were a few of the goodies I got to trial together with provision for a health and safe summer.

In this article Im going to highlight the added benefits of being on a Pure Organic Vitamin C and a good TOXIC FREE sunscreen. During summer most of us struggle with hay-fever, allergies, a lower immune response due to “doing too much” or “trying to fit everything into this beautiful month of bliss”. Your immune response is essentially your bodies way of recognising and dealing with any form of external bacteria, viruses and substances that appear to be harmful or foreign to the internal body. It is highly important to make sure that your bodies immune response is at its peak to deal with simple health issues like dehydration, allergies, colds or simply even drinking far too much booze in the Christmas/ New Years craze. For the last 3 weeks I have taken a capsule of my Pure C every morning and all sights of my allergies have seemed to be kept at bay, some call it coincidence, I don’t think theres such a thing as coincidence when it comes to our health! Look after your body, add in nutritious food, exercise and certain boosters and you should be a optimal functioning human being.

Moving on to a TOXIC FREE sunscreen. Im sure by now most of you have heard about how most of the popular brands of sunscreen found in your supermarket are simply not doing the job they are supposed to be doing. Some even might be causing more harm than good. If you have not been come across this article then I have attached the article herewith for you to read about.

Based on that article and a few other factors, I decided to ask The Raw Pharmacist to make me a toxic free, nice smelling sunscreen that also does the job of protecting my skin. This sunscreen with Zinc Oxide not only protects my skin from the harmful rays but also nourishes it with an infusion of raspberry seed oil, hempseed oil, carrot oil, vitamin E and multiple other essentials. We all know as much as the sun gives us Vitamin D, it can also dehydrate our skin, which is why the infusion of these particular oils will leave your skin soft, supple and hydrated should you be baking in the sun for hours long. What’s also important to remember is that sunscreens MUST HAVE SPF protection, I mean that’s the whole point of using a sunscreen! This particular one has a broad spectrum of SPF 30 and recently got checked and regulated with a results of 35SPF which is EVEN BETTER!!! So there we go guys, when it comes to your skin look after it, everything you do now will affect your health trajectory going forward, just make sure that trajectory shift is a good one!
